“Harriet is gray with patches of white on her underbelly - the most prominent one near between her rear legs, near her lady parts (she’s dainty like that). She’s a stickler for grooming and can often be found ensuring that her coat is lint- and dirt-free. She has large yellow eyes and the cutest little face. Her tail is long and expressive. She’s a veeeeery purrrrty lady.”
Sociability: C
“She’s incredibly curious about new people and immediately acknowledges visitors. Whether or not you’ll keep her attention, however, is a different story. She’ll come to you when she wants to, you can’t force her to accept your petting, and if you try, she’ll nip you to teach you a swift lesson. She gets along well with other cats, but again, not until she lets them know that she’s feisty and not willing to put up with any bull.”
Usefulness: A
“Harriet is a huntress and kills bugs dead! I suspect, though, that she sees them not as intruders or pests, but as potential play things so when she kills them, she’s disappointed that she can’t torture them anymore.”
Huggability: B
“When she’s in a hug-y mood, she’s the best feline pillow ever. She’s recently taken to laying next to me when I go to sleep at night, which is sweet. She also lets me cradle her in my arms when I get home in the evenings and puts her front paws on my chest in a comforting, “hello, dear, tell me all about your day,” kind of way. She’s just the best (the cat’s meow, if you will).”
Overall Grade: B
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t tempted by this article to buy a harness and start taking Harriet on walks in the park.

“This spiffy young kitten’s yellowish-green eyes are to die for! His black and golden stripes complete his intriguing appearance. The “M” on his forehead stands for masculine. And what cat isn’t complete without a bow tie!?”

“Mr. Bonaparte loves being next to someone at all times and he’s constantly meowing. Showing his “dominance” over my 100lb dog is his favorite socialization.”

- i have a crush on a barista whom i suspect no longer recognizes me because i changed the way i wear my hair; if he’s that easily confused, then he is not for me
- i have a crush on another boy who is not emotionally available; he is, therefore, a waste of time.
- for a lac-tard i make a lot of ice cream for myself. and then eat it.
- i’ve been drinking since 6, but because of all the ice cream, i worry about getting to sleep at a reasonable hour
- i really want to get to the pool when it opens tomorrow. i got there 1/2 hour late this morning and the place was pa-acked
- getting a second cat would keep harriet out my face 24/7. getting a second cat, though, could result in having two cats in my face 24/7. conundrum.
- i cannot WAIT for mercury to go direct. on with the next phase of my chart, puh-leeeeeze, kthanxbye!
- studying 8 hours each day is exhausting, more so than going to 10 hours of class a week, that’sfor sure
- the fact that the grades i get this semester don’t matter doesn’t make me any less likely to study. that’s just the way i am, i guess. i can’t help but think, though, about how inefficient studying that much is. i could be doing something that results in a net good to society instead.
