There are two things that I’ve learned, quite recently, can help get me out of “the dumps”:
- working out - seriously, overcoming some sort of physical challenge (which working out becomes when i’m feeling kind of low) does wonders for my mood. ground breaking, i know.
- making something - today, it’s this hat (pictured below). it’s 8:30 pm, and i just finished the cast on (german twist method, thank you very much), but i plan on finishing it in its entirety before i go to bed.
and huzzah: dumps overcome.
